A BMK staff review of the popular Oneoseven Rose Vinegar Water
Working here at Be Mused Korea, you get to try out products… a lot of products actually. But, with all of the amazing brands and products I’ve tested, there’s one that I can sincerely call my ‘holy grail‘ – the Oneoseven Rose Vinegar Water. Let me tell you all the ways I love this mist and why you need it.
The Packaging & Fragrance
I love all things simple and classic. While I do not rule out products just because the packaging will clash with my wallpaper, I do love brands that stick to a clean design that will look great on my makeup table. The box for the Rose Vinegar Water matches my room so well that I DIY’d it into a makeup brush holder! #zerowaste The bottle itself is a frosted plastic and I’m already thinking about how to repurpose it because it just looks so nice!
The rose scent in this mist is very light, subtle, and disperses within just a few seconds. Smelling rose fragrance can reduce stress, lower heart rate, and make you feel uplifted. I guess that’s why they say to stop and smell the roses.
All Its Many Uses
I had honestly never really used a mist before coming to work here at BMK, despite being intrigued every time I saw one in a K-drama. I wasn’t really sure why it is necessary. That all changed after I discovered Oneoseven Rose Vinegar Water and all the different ways I can use it.
I stretch the uses of this facial water to the limits.
That’s probably why this bottle is almost gone after just a month of using it. For starters, I like to use it as a light refresher when I feel like my skin is dry and tight. I spend a lot of time indoors where my skin can dry out, so I like to have this around for midday pick-me-ups.
Makeup Application
I also spray this mist on my Beautyblender for my foundation, contour, and highlighter applications. My days of dampening my Beautyblender with plain tap water are over. We all know that wearing layers of makeup on a daily basis can damage skin and potentially cause skin troubles. Knowing that I’m treating my skin with rose water and vinegar while I apply my makeup really puts my mind at ease.
Moisturizing Toner
While I love using this mist during makeup application, it’s also great when I’m taking it off. Let’s be honest, some days you just can’t be bothered to do a full routine. After a long day, all I want to do is flop onto bed. But, before that, I’m willing to do the bare minimum. After removing my makeup, I spray the Oneoseven Rose Vinegar Water all over my face and call it a night. This facial mist doubles as a clarifying and hydrating toner, so I can rest assured knowing my face is clean and hydrated enough to make it through the night trouble-free.
Dry Spots
This last use may be specific to me, but it proves just how hydrating the Oneoseven Rose Vinegar Water really is. I have quite a few ear piercings, including gauges. As any earring wearer knows, sometimes your ears get so dried out, especially when they’re thin and weak from all the stretching. On a whim, I started spraying my ears with this mist and they have been softer and much more comfortable ever since.
The Benefits I Know I’m Getting
Let’s talk about what this mist is actually doing. One reason I chose the Oneoseven Rose Vinegar Water to try is because of the specific ingredients in the formulation. I suffer from hyperpigmentation and gravitate towards anything with vinegar or rose water. This lovely mist has both! The type of rose water in this mist is Rosa Centifolia Flower Water. Rosa Centifolia contains vitamins including vitamin C and other antioxidants that help moisturize dry skin, protect it against free radicals, and gently brighten skin. It also has antiseptic properties, making it great for soothing irritated skin.

Now let’s take a look at the vinegar. The Oneoseven Rose Vinegar Water uses naturally fermented vinegar. Vinegar helps naturally and safely rejuvenate your skin and eliminate spots by exfoliating dead skin cells. It also has antibacterial properties to help eliminate pore-clogging bacteria and keep new breakouts at bay.
Sometimes, a skincare product comes into your life and it never leaves. For me, that will definitely be the Oneoseven Rose Vinegar Water. Of course, every mist promises to “refresh” and “hydrate,” but if you are looking for a mist that does a little extra to fight against skin issues, I highly recommend giving the Oneoseven Rose Vinegar Water a try.
